# 2.1.0 occasional failed engine \[refresh failed\] due to NullPointerException while evicting query cache

Hi,

At this moment, this case gives me a lot of problems regarding my Elasticsearch cluster.  
I see that this pull request would solve my case:

But this fix is scheduled for 2.1.1. When this update would be avalaible? I really need this update since I cannot use at all my Elasticsearch cluster at this moment!

You can disable the cache as a workaround but 2.1.1 should be out very soon.

Since I really need the caching for my 9G docs, instead I'll make a cron for clearing cache every hours until the release of 2.1.1.
