# 429 retry bulk doc question?

Hi all,  
My elastic cluster have an index that are quite heavily indexed every day so sometime i got the 429 error so i was wondering if the bullk when they retry pushing the doc up does the doc got lost or it still goes up to elastic.  
And also how can i decrease the number of time i got 429 retry.
