# 6.x.x can't run on HTTP POST

I installed 6.1.1 version Elasticsearch, and when I want to POST from ES I found it can't run and show me the pass format is wrong,but if I degrade the version to 5.x.x then it can return ES data successfully.

how is it?

can you be more specific what you are actually trying to do - your post gives no indication which endpoint you are trying to access, how your setup looks like, how your request and your responses look like. Please add more information, so others can chime in and help.
