Hi everyone,

After updating Kibana to version **8.17.3** , we've encountered an issue with generating PDF reports from **Canvas** —all text elements are missing in the output.

### Steps to Reproduce:

1. Create a new Canvas.
2. Add any text element.
3. Go to **Share → PDF Reports → Full Page Layout → Generate PDF**.
4. Download the generated report.

The resulting PDF appears **empty** —no text elements are displayed.

Has anyone else experienced this?
Any workarounds or suggestions on how to fix or mitigate this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Taras_Mikityuk

Can you give more details about your set up? Is it hosted by you or in Elastic Cloud? If the former, you have any logs from the server? Or for both, any errors in the browser console?

I've just tested in a 8.17.3 both from Elastic Cloud and from local source code and in all cases I could generate reports from canvas text elements without much issue.

Hi, thanks for your response. It is hosted by us. We checked the logs and it seems we are missing some chromium dependencies. I'll let you know.
