# Absolute values in TSVB

How do we show absolute values of a field in TSVB?

Hi @behappy_alwayz0401 ,

you could define a metric, then add a `Math` aggregation below and apply an `abs` function to the metric as shown here:

Or you can use Lens formula where it's possible to define the metric directly in the editor.
