Hi,

I am trying to access, on port 9200, a single instance of ES that is
running on an EC2 machine with no EIP. I can access it from the machine
itself but not from remote. the port is opened in the security group.
I have tried setting network.host to the various available options with and
without discovery.ec2.host\_type: public\_ip but nothing helps. If I set the
network.host param to the current public IP or DNS of the machine, ES fails
to boot with BindTransportException.

Please advise,

Thanks
