# Accessing the start and end times in a filter group

Hello,

I'd like to display the month and day of a drop-down filter on a different page of my report, using it as a sub-heading of all subsequent pages.

I've verified that essql queries work using the range I've selected (ie: filters group| essql query={}), but I need to be able to print that range. Is that possible?

Will show just the full json objects for what appears to be all filters.  
But something like

```auto
filters
| Markdown magic here 
| render

```

Would be nice to display the start data or end data in a formatted matter.  
mm/dd/yyyy would be nice. ( or whatever your locale flavor might be )

How would one access those values?
