# Active threads in Thread pool is not changing

Hi,I'm new to elasticsearch and currently i'm facing an issue of 'es\_rejected\_execution\_exception'.I just checked the thread pool by \_cat/thread\_pool?v.  
here I can see,(only one is mentioned here)  
node\_name name active queue rejected  
[example.com](http://example.com) search 13 914 907

This active thread is still 13 while i'm not using elasticsearch query or anything...why ?And i'm facing the same exception...Whats the actual problem...?
