# AD/LDAP Authentication failure

Hi Team,

We have configured the required settings as shown in the documents for elastic search integration with AD authentication and created all the required groups and users at AD end but when I try to login with the user facing below error.

{​​​​​​"error":{​​​​​​"root\_cause":[{​​​​​​"type":"security\_exception","reason":"action [cluster:monitor/health] is unauthorized for user [bind]"}​​​​​​],"type":"security\_exception","reason":"action [cluster:monitor/health] is unauthorized for user [bind]"}​​​​​​,"status":403}​​​​​​
