# Add a domain to get started - validate domain - failed

Hey @neergttocsdivad,

What version of Enterprise Search are you running? By default, crawls against `127.0.0.1` wont work for security reasons.

If you need to override this for testing, you can do so with a configuration option. Look for `Crawler HTTP Security Controls` and `Crawler DNS Security Controls` here: [Configuration | Elastic Enterprise Search Documentation [7.15] | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/enterprise-search/7.15/configuration.html).
