# Add custom results in search results

Hi guys,
I came across [http://swiftype.com](http://swiftype.com) recently and found it very interesting.
I don't know what is in the back-end, but I thought it could be
elasticsearch.
However, what I found especially interesting is the feature to add custom
results for specific keyword search (if you are search engine
administrator). For example, if you are searching for keyword
"elasticsearch" you can add document which is not included in results and
pin it to specific position. Moreover, you can unpin some results or move
it on specific position.
I'm wondering if this can be done at the elasticsearch layer and which
approach should be applied, or it has to be implemented in the application
layer.
