Hello, I have recently started to use the SNMP plugin to poll a few devices and its great the only issue I am having is if the device reaches its timeout Logstash just logs it in its log file and I would like to have it so it tags it and then continues to go through the filter so I can have a dashboard for devices that are constantly timing out is this possible? I was thinking if I can add a tag in the input if it fails but I'm not sure how I can accomplish this ---

I do not think it is possible. If the poll times out then the result set will be empty, and in that case the [code](https://github.com/logstash-plugins/logstash-input-snmp/blob/f7d3c5f93abe2b2e227d95dba1842bcad610d22d/lib/logstash/inputs/snmp.rb#L196) does not create an event. ---
