# Added logstash imap source to elastic search, but unable to view it in Kibana

Hello Mansoor,

Can you please check if [http://localhost:9200/\_cat/indices?v](http://localhost:9200/_cat/indices?v) shows any documents for your index in elasticsearch?

If it does - then you will be able to create the indexpattern in Kibana. [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/tutorial-define-index.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/tutorial-define-index.html)
