# Adding a field to \[ctx.payload\]

Hello,

I have create a watcher that grab's data from a REST interface removes Headers and Status\_code.

My question : can I add a additional field to the payload? As I understand the payload is one complete field so basically I want to add a second field so I can filter on this one,
