# Adding TAKE\_FILE\_OWNERSHIP=true to kibana

Hello,

Elasticsearch has the environment variable TAKE\_FILE\_OWNERSHIP=true to loosen permissions on a custom data directory set with path.data. Would it be possible to add the same option to kibana?

The issues I noticed seem to be fixed in 7.5.0.
