# After deleted metric beat index not able to get data from metric beat agent

Hi Team,

Can someone please help with the below error message as I deleted the metricbeat index from elastichsearch through Kibana and now I'm not able to get data from metricbeat agent..

Hi Pankaj,

There are 2 ways to solve this problem.

1. In metricbeat.yml file add the following line under "Setup ILM" section. And try the setup command again.  
`setup.ilm.overwrite: true`

2. Login to Kibana, and delete all the references for metricbeat, including index, life cycle policy, etc. and try to run the setup command again.
