# After enabling the https not able to launch kibana dashboard

We enable https but we are able to launch the Elasticsearch URL but we are not able to launch kibana it is showing can't reach the page

Hi @Manjiri please make sure you have added the required certificates as you have used to secure Elasticsearch in kibana.yml file as well and secure the kibana with required configuration.

Hi,
After enabling HTTPS in Elasticsearch, have you also enabled HTTPS or encrypted the traffic between Elasticsearch and Kibana?
Once Elasticsearch is secured and restarted, you need to change you kibana.yml settings as well with the necessary configuration and certificates required and restart Kibana.
This might fix your issue.
