# Agent support for OS windows server and red hat

what about support agents on these servers:

Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008 R2, Linux Redhat desde 5.11 and 6.8

The support matrix for Elastic Agent can be found at [https://www.elastic.co/support/matrix#elastic-agent](https://www.elastic.co/support/matrix#elastic-agent). RHEL 5 is not supported because Go is not supported on it. And I think RHEL 6 is not listed because it is EOL.

so the solution for rhel 5 is using logtash and set manually rsyslog?
