# Aggregate by Concatenate

I was trying to find the most recent value in a metric using [this previous forum post](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/display-latest-value-in-a-metric/114930) but I cannot seem to find a way to do Aggregate by Concatenate. Is it possible I have an older version of Kibana, or has Concatenate been deprecated? If so, is there another way to achieve this?

Hi Tanya, the Top Hit aggregation was introduced in Kibana 5.3.0 ([https://github.com/elastic/kibana/pull/7302](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/pull/7302)). The `concatenate` option is only available with table visualizations.
