# Aggregate filter cache

Hi guys,

If I'm using aggregate filter plugin, and after a start event, my collector node restarted for whatever reason. When my end event comes, is it able to find my start event? Is there any cache storing task\_id?

Only if you enable it. See the [aggregate\_maps\_path](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/plugins-filters-aggregate.html#plugins-filters-aggregate-aggregate_maps_path) option.
