# Aggregate t-digest data

I'd like to use ES to aggregate percentile data. Due to the size of the data, it is unfeasible to send all the raw data to ES. I'd like to generate t-digest on each agents remotely and then have the agents send the t-digest of data to ES. Will ES be able to aggregate the t-digests and allow queries to search for percentiles in this fashion?

Or is sending the raw data to ES the only way?
