# Alert index is not getting generated

I didn't receive alert in elastic even agent is installed  
Please I need help just view little hours before delivering my project

There could be several reasons why alerts are not working as expected. It would be nice to know the version of Elastic you are using and possible error messages.

But, here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

- Verify the Elastic Agent Installation: Double-check that the agent is installed correctly and running.

- Check Alert Rules: Review your alert rules and make sure they are properly configured. Ensure that the conditions for triggering the alerts are set correctly and check the defined schedule.

- Check Alert Notification Settings: Ensure that your notification settings are correctly configured. Check the destination.

Lastly, you can inspect the logs for any error messages or relevant information.
