# Alert to SNS if no events received

We are trying to monitor our Micros services, if it is up and running. We are planning to send heartbeat to logs and create dashboard on Kibana. Is it possible to send an alert(to SNS), in case no heartbeat received. So that, we can bring up the micro service with a Lambda job, where it is listening on SNS. We have X-pack installed.

I have no idea if you can integrate this with SNS?

[The webhook action](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/x-pack/current/actions-webhook.html) might work for you, but I'm not too familiar with SNS to know for sure.
