Hello,

I use the alerting rules that are directly available in Kibana ( **i don't use "Watcher"** ).

As action, I send an email and i put the field **{{context.hits.0.\_source.inventoryDate}}** in the body. It works well, but the format is not very good: I would like to specify the format of the date. How can I do that ?

Thank you for your help,

Alexis

Hi @agaucher
There isn't a way to do this just yet.

We have an [issue](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/84217) tracking this requirement though, so it would be very helpful if you could add a comment with your exact use case so we can weigh that in when planning the work.

Thanks!
