# Alerting Use Cases

Can you please list down the alerting (X-Pack Watcher) Use cases.

I do not really understand the question or the rationale behind this. Alerting is pretty flexible so the use-cases are basically limited by your imagination and which data you are able to access with alerting.

Please elaborate a bit more on this question, if there is anything specific you want to know. Thanks!
