# Amount of replica's

we have redundant elastic stack setup in 2 datacenters with CCR and redundant storage in each DC.
as a lot of TB of data we want to set replica from 1 to 0 to save storage.
is their any othe reason to keep the replica on 1?

As CCR is a subscription level feature, I would encourage you to raise a request with the Support team, as you have access to that with your subscription 🙂
That said, I would suggest that disabling replicas isn't a great idea. Despite CCR across clusters, you still might have a situation that causes data loss locally which would be expensive to recover from.
