# An we add log retentions for elasticsearch, logstash, kibana and metric beat

Can we add log retentions for elasticsearch, logstash, kibana and metric beat like below in `.yml` file

```auto
    logging.level: debug
    logging.to_files: true
    logging.to_syslog: false
    logging.files:
      path: /logs/elasticsearch
      name: elasticsearch
      keepfiles: 10
      permissions: 0644

```
