# Annotations in TSVB using Cardinality

**Kibana 5.4.2**

In TSVB I am using Sum to calculate a total and I am wanting to use the annotations to show specific dates where there are sums of a particular type of transactions. The annotation I am wanting to show the companyname field. It is working but it is showing that Annotation of the companyname more then once. I think this is because there are multiple documents in the sum for that companyname. I am wanting to use something like Cardinality so that the companyname gets grouped into only showing once per Annotation Per TS Dated column.

I think you're referring to this tooltip when you mouse over the annotation?

If so, I don't know of any way to avoid it.

I discussed this with some others on the team and Alex created an enhancement request for it;
