Spring Boot applications with the actuator module enabled provide production-grade management and monitoring services, such as `/health`, `/metrics` [and a few others](http://docs.spring.io/spring-boot/docs/1.4.0.RELEASE/reference/htmlsingle/#production-ready-endpoints).

A new community beat called springbeat is now available. Springbeat will gather metrics and health information from a running Spring Boot application and ship them to Elasticsearch.
