# Ansible-elasticsearch on Centos 8

Is there work being put towards supporting the ansible-elasticsearch project on Centos 8, since elasticsearch has supported it for 3 releases now.

Hi @biggtimber,
We don't have any work in progress for that currently, but yes CentOS 8 should be supported at some time.
I just created [https://github.com/elastic/ansible-elasticsearch/issues/737](https://github.com/elastic/ansible-elasticsearch/issues/737) to track it.
Don't hesitate to subscribe this issue to be noticed when some work will be done for that.
Also PR are greatly appreciated if you're interrested in contributing for this feature.
