I have a prometheus monitoring setup. I need some sort of exporter from filebeat to scrape metrics from. I see filebeat already has X-Pack monitoring which needs an ES backend. Is there any way to support prometheus metrics exposed on an HTTP endpoint?

Right now monitoring Filebeat using XPack is the only supported way.
Do you mind opening an enhancement request on GH, so the state of Prometheus monitoring can be tracked? [https://github.com/elastic/beats/issues/new](https://github.com/elastic/beats/issues/new)
