# Anyway to delete monitoring data periodically when pushing data to remote cluster?

xpack.monitoring.history.duration =\> This setting currently only impacts `local` -type exporters. Indices created using the `http` exporter will not be deleted automatically.

Is there any direct way of such retention policy for data being exported via http or will I manually have to write rollup polices for those indexes?
