# APM agent for React application

Hi,

We want to monitor our React application with APM server.

Do Elastic APM agent support React?  
If yes, documentation please.

Hi Raushan,

Thanks for your interest in APM!

The APM Server receives data from the different APM agents we provide. The agent in charge of getting information from web applications is the [(RUM) JavaScript Agent](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/apm/agent/rum-js/current/intro.html). Additionally, we also provide of a react integration for it as you can see in the [link](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/apm/agent/rum-js/current/react-integration.html).

On the other hand, if you are using react on the server side with Node.js (e.g. for SSR) you might be interested in using the [APM Node.js agent](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/apm/agent/nodejs/current/index.html) as well. Although this one doesn't have a [out of the box integration](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/apm/agent/nodejs/current/supported-technologies.html) with react.
