Hello!

We are trying to use ES + Kibana + APM Server for monitoring of few our applications (Ruby/Rails)

And I have a questions about data managing and storage separately for our Apps:

- is it possible to have different indices for each of app which are sending data to APM?
- how I can delete all APM data for one of my App projects?

You certainly can: you can control the index name by configuring [output.elasticsearch.indices](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/apm/server/current/elasticsearch-output.html#indices-option-es) in `apm-server.yml`. You could, for example, include `%{[service.name]}` in the index format string.

To delete the APM data, you can either [delete the Elasticsearch indices](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/indices-delete-index.html), or run an Elasticsearch [delete by query](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/docs-delete-by-query.html) to just delete the documents without deleting the indices.
