# Applying license for one node

Hello Cluster License got expired in my cluster , i applied the license through kibana , but during that time one of my Elasticsearch node is down and the license was not applied to that particular node. How can i apply license to that particualar ES node and make it join the cluster.

That shouldn't be necessary. You can just add the node to the cluster and it will get a copy of the license.
Is something not working?
