Hi, I'd like to learn if the automatically generated document ids are unique across totally different elasticsearch clusters. We are planning to use different clusters for manual sharding but we'd like the document ids to be unique just in case. Hi, Yes they are UUIDs. If required, you can also pass your own ids instead of ES generating them for you.
