# Are there plans for Micrometer (Java) support?

Spring Boot 2.x will evolve their unified application metrics reporting by moving to Micrometer, so I was wondering if there were plans to integrate the APM Java agent into Micrometer:

Great to hear!

In the meantime I was considering implementing a micrometer-registry-beats that would send Beats structured event-json to a Logstash running the Beats input plugin.
