# Are there updates for kibana 7.17?

Hi @Russell_Fulton Are you referring to [chromium type confusion vulnerability](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/kibana-7-17-22-8-14-0-security-update-esa-2024-17/361508) ?

If yes, so you need to upgrade to versions 7.17.22. If you can't upgrade, please refer above link for the solution.
