# Are there updates for kibana 7.17?

My apologies for not being more explicit! I was as asking about the recent issue with kibana (CVE-2024-37288) which i have now found does not affect version 7 (according to [Kibana 8.15.1 Security Update (ESA-2024-27, ESA-2024-28)](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/kibana-8-15-1-security-update-esa-2024-27-esa-2024-28/366119)).
