Ok, you're not running behind a corporate proxy and being blocked by any chance?

A few things to try:

1. Try running separate commands without the pipe, [similar to the guide](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/targz.html).
2. The `no-certificate-check` as outlined in [this old thread](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/elasticsearch-installation-gpg-no-valid-openpgp/133223/2).
