# Ask for recommendation to monitor 1000 PC with Metricbeat

Hallo Everything, can I ask for advice, how should I build elasticsearch cluster if I want to monitor 1000 PC with Metricbeat with 3 months data retention. How many nodes do I need to prepare, is it necessary to dedicate nodes? How the server specification on each node? And for high avaibility should I need to use how many Logstash?
