# Authentication of \[elastic\] was terminated by realm \[reserved\] - failed to authenticate user \[elastic\]

Getting the authentication error for elastic user.

Authentication of [elastic] was terminated by realm [reserved] - failed to authenticate user [elastic]

I tried resetting the password using bootstrap but no luck.

Can anyone guide me?
