# Auto creation of indexes is done in the wrong timezone

process should be done at midnight. Anyone has idea of what is going on? My
timezone is GMT-3, by the way.

I have this situation using logstash+ES (GMT-4). Some events have an
ISO8601 timestamp in GMT and those events seem to trigger the index
creation ahead of schedule. I have considered trying to mess with the
timestamps but technically the timestamp is correct and my searches in
Kibana all come back with the correct times for the results, so I haven't
really looked at it further.

Hi Roberto,
What software uses Elasticsearch in your setup? I suppose that
particular software creates the index automatically.
Normally, indices are automatically created when you index your first document.
