# Auto revert for added URL to a certain field

I am trying to update the dashboard with a clickable URL for one field.  
After I added URL to one field, in Index Patterns, it worked for a while ,  
However, for some unknown reason, the url format change got reverted back to nothing after a short while, without any manually update.  
My kibana version is 5.6.4.  
Any suggest what might be the reason?

Hmm, it may have been due to using Discover in a separate tab. After updating the index pattern, close or refresh all separate Kibana tabs.
