# Automatic Dashboards

Is there a way to automatically create the visualization/dashboards? We just trying to create same dassboards for each index? and wanted to automatically do it when we keep adding the new index. Can some one throw light on this ? Thanks !

Hello Mike,
You might want to consider the option mentioned in [this thread](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/is-it-possible-to-automate-the-creation-of-dashboard-in-kibana/188620/3), but it does focus more on updating an existing visualization. There's also the possibility of doing what you describe with an external script as mentioned in [this thread](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/dynamic-dashboard-schema-and-dynamic-kibana-charts/60472). I think those would be the best two options at this point!
