# AWS Elasticsearch - xpack\_main@6.3.1 Authentication Exception from Kibana on prem

I am trying to connect to ES (6.3.1) in AWS from on prem Kibana(6.3.1) and getting below error on kibana

You cannot use X-Pack with AWS ES sorry to say.

@warkolm I want to use kibana 6.3.1only without X-pack, where can I get it?
