# AWS Kinesis streaming to elastic.co

Hello,  
I have a project requiring to stream log files to [elastic.co](http://elastic.co) using AWS Kiness(firehoss or data stream) .  
The project team wants to use [elastic.co](http://elastic.co) instead of AWS ElasticService.  
Does anyone have experience with it? what' a good strategy to do it?

Did you try it? If you have any trouble making it work, I'd suggest to create a question in #elastic-stack:beats with #functionbeat tag.

I have been trying it. it seems the lambda detects the cloudwatch log changes, but I am getting ". \<path-to-functionbeat/functionbeat.keystore:permission denied" error.  
I will ask the about this on the channel.
