# Beat service does not restart after "apt upgrade"

"unattended upgrades " upgrade our beats (filebeat and metricbeat) but the beat services does not restarted.

If e.g. the "filebeat" package is updated with **apt upgrade** or automatically with **unattended upgrades** , then the filebeat service is not automatically restarted (manuel with **systemctl restart filebeat** ).
I also noticed that if you remove the package with **apt purge filebeat** , the service continues to run in the main memory and has to be stopped manually with **systemcl stop filebeat**.
This is not normal behavior that you would expect from a package.

Does nobody have this problem? In my opinion this is a bug.
