# Beats 8.7.x has disappeared in the Beats Release Notes?!

Hi,

It seems as Beats 8.7.x has disappeared in the Beats Release Notes.

Is this a mistake or a note to avoid Beats 8.7?

Probably just a mistake.

But if you are installing a new beats then you should go to `8.8.1`.
