Hi!
Let's say i have a cluster with 2 nodes and for different reasons both of them are down. What happened with the data that is collecting with metricbeat? Is stored somewhere else, somewhere local? Or it's not going to collect data until the servers are up and running?

Your topic title doesn't really provide much insight into your question, which doesn't entice people to view your topic and provide assistance. If you can update it I think it'd help get better answers 🙂

That's not the best, have a read of [Important Configuration Changes | Elasticsearch: The Definitive Guide [2.x] | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/guide/2.x/important-configuration-changes.html#_minimum_master_nodest) and then consider adding another node.

It'll collect data and then cache it locally until it can reconnect to Elasticsearch/
